Colle Guasco and the heart of the city

The city of Ancona has a charming air about it that adds to a first-rate historical and artistic heritage and an outstanding nature resource, the Parco del Conero. This limestone headland – white cliffs, Mediterranean maquis and small beaches – breaks the linear Adriatic coastline to form an ‘elbow’ that makes the city immediately recognizable on the map.
