Road Information

Thanks to Italy’s extensive motorway network, it is quite easy to get around it by car.
Distances are easily covered although journeys may take longer at certain times of the day or in summer, when tourist traffic increases substantially.
The motorways are all toll roads.
Visit the official website www.autostrade.it for all the information needed to plan a journey and on the status of motorway traffic in real time (service in Italian).
